Estalagem do Vale is a charming, historical country-house style inn that offers comfortable, “home from home” accommodation in the beautiful setting of the Laurissilva Forest, one of the most idyllic places on Madeira Island.
Nowadays Estalagem do Vale boasts 41 rooms, with such 21st century conveniences as cable TV, internet access and direct dial telephones: everything to make life as comfortable as can be. Guests can also enjoy the restaurant, bar and other leisure facilities, within the building or set in the beautiful gardens.
Standard Rooms and "Mariza" Suite
There are 35 Twin rooms located in the adjoining wing, along with the “Mariza” Suite. The overall theme of the décor and furnishing is clean, simple and welcoming, with comfort very much in mind.
The "Mariza" Suite is ideal for families with children, with all the privacy and space needed for a nice stay. It is located on the ground floor facing the swimming pool and surrounding areas. Private balconies give fabulous views across the landscape.
All rooms have central heating, safe, as well as cable TV, direct dial telephone service and internet access. One room has been specially designed to meet the requirements of less mobile guests.
Rooms in the main manor house
There are five Double Superior rooms in the historical main house of Estalagem do Vale and they retain many of the original features while incorporating modern comforts and conveniences such as full en-suite bathrooms and central heating. They are decorated and furnished in traditional style to reflect the character of the building.
