The hotel was built in the historic building of Armazéns do Chiado, nowadays a shopping centre, which was completely restored by the famous architect Siza Vieira after the tragic fire of 1988. Situated in Chiado, the trendiest, most elegant and chic meeting point in Lisbon, this is the only hotel in town that offers rooms with private terraces and panoramic views of the Castle and the Tagus River.
